MEGA Big Post of Art! :D

Hello there!

Got a little behind on my own deadlines I've been setting for myself, but still managed to get some stuff done.

Firstly here's some sketches of some characters from a story that's forever WIP. -_- Even the title/font is still rough, but I wanted something a little more official looking than just plan text.

Anywho, just trying to get some character layout practice, since I still feel a little weak at that.

Some more side characters from the same story. I plan to do more along with these.

I really love working with this cel shade style! It fits my characters very well, me thinks. :B

More animal gods from the same story (lol). I had LOADS of fun working on these, especially the lizard. :)

And now a random sequential! This was really just practice to get used to the process, using my animal characters as guinea pigs. XD . I'm probably going to do a few more random ones with other characters, just to practice layout and such. Either way, I'm quite happy with how this came out.

Yay for kicks in da FACE!

Lastly, here's some stuff that's kinda finished, kinda not. I think doing cel shade for actual illustrations is harder than just characters (or maybe that's just me.) It's tricky for me to make them look "finished" and not flat. Bleh, but I'm determined!

So these will be posted up when I feel they're ready-- who knows when that'll be. :P

Oh wait! And VERY LASTLY, I touched this image up again. (mainly the hand because it was pretty hideous before. )

Which can also be seen at my new DeviantArt page:

So check it out there!

Okay I think I'm done now, peace! :D

Art Mode GO!

Hello guys, long time no see! :D

A lot of the sketches were done late last year, and due to my lack of scanner, it's been tricky to show more recent stuff. -_- But for now these will do.

The majority of the colored stuff is fresh off the press however. Hope you guys like! ;)

Lately, I've been falling in love with the cell shade style. Somehow I feel like this style suits my characters better. Still getting used to it, but I would like to get as comfortable with it as I am with the painterly style.

Some practice pics.

Sketches from late last year.

Some old characters that I finally think I got right.

Two animal gods from the same story as the characters above. A story I doubt I'll finish. -_-

I'm inspired by nostalgia. These are incredibly old characters of mine that I wanted to see in cell shade form. I'm personally happy with the final result.

More to come soon! :)

Been doing tons of drawing lately, trying to keep up my pencil game. :P

Characters galore!

And here's some turnarounds I did recently as well.

New Stuff! ^_^

Hello peeps! Thought I'd update this thing with some new and old stuff I've finished. This will be a pretty large post. XD

Here's some recent illustrations I've finished. :)

"Calm Before the Storm"

It was fun playing around with lightning and water. And wrinkles, gotta love wrinkles. :D

"Poisonous Inhalation"

The pollution you don't see.

"A Backwards Transformation"

Self explanatory.

Recent character sketches here. I was trying to work in a more stylized manner, and it was loads of fun!

Some concept sketches for an old story I was working on.

Aliens, Environments and SNAAKES

Some new stuff!

Using the subject of "The Moon" I came up with this oddity using watercolor and ink pens.. Don't ask why the alien's wearing a dress, I just let my hand do the talking. XP It was refreshing though...

Done for one of my Illustration classes. We had to use one of the World Records as our subject, and I found one on some guy from Texas who held eight rattlesnakes in his mouth. Creeepy.

But a fun subject to exaggerate. :)

Colored in Photoshop.

Yay, environments. I took some pictures around Bay St. in Savannah, and used a few as reference for these... Just focusing on slightly repetative patterns and textures.
